In May 2026, Zannier Hotels is opening a new hotel resort on Île de Bendor, one of the most famous private islands on the Riviera. Their goal is to create: a French Riviera from the past — old-world and exclusive, without the crowds and noise of Cannes and Nice. The hotel resort is called: Zannier Bendora.
The private island resort will be about 7 hectares (15 acres) in size. And it will contain a boutique hotel with 93 rooms spread across 3 distinct areas: Delos, Soukana, and the Madrague Houses. Each area will have its own unique ambience and experience.
Delos will be chic and exclusive. It will embody the refinement and glamour of the French Riviera in the 1960s. Soukana will be earthy and tranquil. It will be decorated with raw materials and neutral tones — the ideal place to commune with nature. Madrague will consist of 5 houses, each with their own private garden. The overall theme will be rustic and Provençal — perfect for family vacations.
Zannier Bendor will have 3 restaurants, 4 bars, a café, and a creperie. It will also have a 1200 sqm wellness centre that will include a hammam, high-tech treatment room, indoor and outdoor pool, outdoor yoga platform, fitness centre as well as tennis and pickelball courts.
For travellers looking for an experience, the resort will also offer curated activities including tours on the mainland through lavender fields, vineyards, fishing villages, and sea-salted castles as well as kayak rides, coastal bicycle rides, seaside yoga classes, epic pétanque battles, curated fitness sessions, scuba dives, hikes, sailing, and snorkeling.
