THE SCHOOL

Balissande Finishing School is formatted like a traditional school, except it is online. It has virtual homerooms, classrooms for core classes and electives, plus additional spaces to learn, explore, and experience.

The homeroom is an e-dashboard that gives students access to different areas of the school, including their general classroom, as well as their program’s elective classrooms, noticeboard, and other spaces.

The general classroom is a space that contains a program’s core classes. This space covers subjects that are necessary to navigate gracefully through different societies and professional industries in the West. Balissande’s core subjects are etiquette, style, deportment, hostessing, fashion, and communication.

The elective classroom contains elective classes. These classes are optional. They cover a diverse range of topics, that are not necessary for every student’s lifestyle. Examples of electives offered are formal hostessing, high frequency living, leadership, diplomatic protocol, business etiquette, and household management.

The noticeboard keeps students informed. It notifies students of lesson updates, our website provider’s work dates, administrative news, and other information.

Note: Finishing programs span 11 to 21 weeks. All finishing programs offer beginner level etiquette, style, deportment, hostessing, fashion, and communication classes. The longer programs offer intermediate and/or advanced level classes.

The longer the program, the more concepts we can teach and the deeper we can explore them. We do not pack 21 weeks of information into 11-week programs.
