Hello ladies! We are starting an event section that will be featuring high-class and high culture events around the world. The first event we will be discussing is the Vienna Opera Ball to be held on February 28th, 2019 in Vienna, Austria.
We are introducing the Vienna Opera Ball because this is one of the best events for a lady to practice her etiquette and deportment skills. Unlike many other formal events, this ball has kept to the tradition of men wearing white-tie and women, ball gowns. What’s also wonderful is that attendees know how to dance the Viennese Waltz and are expected to cover the dance floor with graceful spins and glides.
There are very few events today that still offer such old world, high-class charm. So, a lady must go in search of them. It’s the best way to further refine her social skills and tastes.
If you cannot travel to Austria, don’t fret. There are versions of this ball held in different cities around the world, including Washington D.C., Paris, New York, Moscow, Stockholm, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Dubai.

The Margaret Bocek’s Viennese Christmas Ball in Washington D.C. has announced a tentative date: December 6, 2019.
The San Francisco Waltzing Society in California is hosting their annual Autumn Viennese Waltz Ball on November 9, 2019.
The Stanford Viennese Ball in California is being held February 2, 2019.
In Ottawa, Canada: the Viennese Winter Ball will be held on March 30, 2019 at the Sal de Bal Trillium Ballroom, Shaw Centre.
In Montreal, Canada: Bal Viennois de Montréal will be held November 16, 2019 at the Marriott Hotel Chateau Champlain.
In London, England: the Austrian Club London will be hosting the Austrian Ball November 16, 2019.
In Paris, France: the Viennese ball, Bal des Parisiennes, will take place June 15, 2019 at Grand Hôtel Intercontinental de Paris.
