Usually, Christmas stockings are filled with knick-knacks on Christmas Eve… sometimes even with gag gifts. But with society turning towards conservation, we want to ask: why? Why continue this practice?

TIP 1
A few items on our list, (eg. cheese and pâté) need to be refrigerated. The later you can stuff them into their stocking, the better. You may even need to stuff them an hour or two before the big opening. So be mindful of this when choosing to gift perishable foods.
According to Bon Appetit, “cheese can stay out for up to six hours at 70°F or colder.” Hard cheeses like parmesan can stay out for longer. You can read more by clicking on the link ⬆️
If you want to gift perishable items, we also recommend you do not place your stockings in a warm area, for example in front of an open fire or near a heater. Choose cool areas and keep your home cool once you have stuffed your stockings.

A few items on our list are relatively large. So they will need a large stocking and a sturdy hanger.
