It’s that time of the year again! The Cannes Yachting Festival, in the heart of the French Riviera, is back with the biggest names in the nautical industry and the most innovative designs.
This year, the festival will showcase 500+ prestigious motor units from 16ft (5m) to 147ft (45m), 120 new sailing boats from 32ft (10m) to 91ft (28m), and 500+ brands.
The Old Port will also host the Luxury Gallery, a sector dedicated to l’art de vivre — luxury watches, jewelry, fashion and accessories, decoration, furniture, high-tech products, tableware, household linen, real estate, private aviation, and high-end services. Some brands you will see this year are: Acqua Dell’elba, Amélie Péret, Ateliers Brizepierre, Aurehum, Beltrami, Brocante Martin, Grandi Maioliche Ficola, Maison Felger, and Roche Bobois.
EXCITING DEBUTS & SHOWCASES
SanLorenzo will be debuting SD90 and SP110. And we predict, SP110 will be the talk of the festival. It’s a beauty! The SP110 is 33.04 m in overall length with a maximum beam of 8,2 m. It is powered by three MAN V12 2000hp engines and has a cruising speed of 36 knots with a maximum speed of 40 knots. Its hull is optimised for use with hydrojet propulsion.
Prestige Motor Yachts will be debuting the Prestige X60 and M48 to the public for the first time at the show.
Beneteau will be debuting the Beneteau Oceanis Yacht 60 and Beneteau First 44.
Fjord’s new flagship 53XL will be making its world debut this year. And it’s a beauty! It has an open-plan owner’s suite, twin stateroom, a crew cabin accessed directly from the cockpit, an aft sun pad mounted on hydraulic rams, a tender garage, a T-top that extends over the cockpit and outside galley, a sun awning, and a dinette for nine.
Ferretti Group will be showcasing five new models — the flybridge Ferretti Yachts 860, the fleet flagship Custom Line 140’, Riva 102’ Corsaro Super, Riva 76’ Bahamas Super, and Riva Anniversario. The Riva Anniversario, a 33-foot open, was created to pay tribute to Ferretti’s 180th anniversary this year. It is a limited edition with only 18 units planned.
Baglietto will be debuting Rush, the 42m superfast custom yacht pencilled by Francesco Paszkowski with interiors designed in cooperation with Margherita Casprini. They will also be showcasing Attitude, a DOM 133 model.
