Attending professional conferences are essential activities for networking and learning. They are so important, we even like to recommend them to women who have not reached leader status, but have that as one of their goals. They don’t just empower you, they also drive you up, much faster than often expected.

If you choose the right conferences and attend them with your most engaging personality and studious aims, the rewards can be astounding. We cannot help you with the latter, but we can help you with your choice in conferences.

The best conferences for you can be determined by who the speakers are (what are their titles and experiences), who will be attending (eg. potential clients or employers or your competition), and what topics will be discussed. Generally speaking, our advice is: the higher your title, the higher the titles you need.

Meaning: if you are a vice-president or president of a company, the majority of conferences you choose to attend should have speakers at the C-suite level and attendees at your level or higher. This is why some high-title conferences are invite-only and require a specific title to attend.

For this article, we have created a mix of mid-level and high-level conferences, in the US, UK, and Egypt, for female leaders (executives, politicians, diplomats, managers, supervisors) and upcoming trailblazers who are determined to succeed.
